Far from being a one sided occurrence, the intimate act of photographing someone is very revealing to both the subject and photographer alike. The more each person opens themselves up to the other the more honest, powerful, and insightful the images are.

Being just as open to the person I am working with as I want them to be with me is not easy but the rewards are always worth the risk. If not in the images captured then in the personal insight gained.
